CHICAGO — Two officers were among four injured Monday in a car accident in Roseland, police said.
Around 5 p.m., officers in a squad car were traveling eastbound with their police lights and sirens activated when it collided with a Chevy Impala in the intersection of 108th and State streets, said Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The police officers, 32 and 30, were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Zala said.
The 34-year-old driver of the Chevy refused treatment, and her 43-year-old passenger was taken to Stroger to be evaluated, Zala said.
No citations have been issued.
