HYDE PARK — Film crews for the “Chicago Fire” TV show will be setting up along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive on Friday.

Crews will be out all day on King Drive between 38th and 39th Streets shooting the NBC drama currently in its third season.

A fake plane crash staged by film crews for the show fooled some residents when the neighborhood first started to make an appearance on the show in 2012.

A representative from the production company wouldn’t say what’s being planned for Friday, but parking will be limited on several blocks all day.

The southbound inner lane of the 3800 block of King Drive will be closed to traffic and parking from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking will be limited from 3 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the 3800 block of King Drive and Calumet Avenue and 38th Street between King Drive and Calumet Avenue.
