Former Bookstore to Host Bookbinding Classes

HYDE PARK — Albany Park-based artist and bookbinder Regin Igloria will lead a six-week course on making books in the former O'Gara and Wilson book store at 1448 E. 57th St.

Starting at 4 p.m. Friday, Igloria will lead two-hour sessions every Friday on making pamphlets, stab bindings and other codex-style books.

The course lasts six weeks and costs $90, but visitors can drop-in on any session for $20.
