EDGEWATER — We're nearly there, Chicago. Summer is coming.
And here's the proof: The first batch of sidewalk cafe permits was working its way through the City Council this month.
The official sidewalk cafe season began on March 1, and it ends nine months later in December.
Here's a list of all the permits being considered by the council.
Expect to see your favorite eatery's outdoor seating open soon.
Rogers Park:
• The Common Cup, 1501 W. Morse Ave.
• Act One Pub, 1330 W. Morse Ave.
West Rogers Park:
• Rub's Backcountry Smokehouse, 6954 N. Western Ave.
• Bina's Cafe, 2407 W. Lunt Ave.
• Northstar Restaurant, 6246 N. Western Ave.
Edgewater:
• Nookies, 1100 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
• Hellas Gyros, 1133 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
• Mas Alla del Sol, 5848 North Broadway
• That Little Mexican Cafe, 1055 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
• Starbucks, 1052 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
• Metropolis Coffee, 1039 W. Granville Ave.
• Subway, 1101 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
• Burke's Public House, 5401 North Broadway
• Broadway Cellars, 5900 North Broadway
