LINCOLN SQUARE — Take a trip to the tropics without leaving Lincoln Square at Amundsen High School's Luau Carnival on Thursday.

The event features games, food, arts and crafts, a raffle and cake walk from 6-8 p.m. at 5110 N. Damen Ave.

BYO grass skirt.

Baked goods, either homemade or store-bought, are still needed for the cake walk — a sort of musical chairs with sweets as the prize. Sign up online if you're able to supply cookies, brownies, cupcakes or other treats by 6 p.m.

Admission to the carnival is $5 for adults, $3 for high school students with ID and free for kids 12 and under. Proceeds support sports and extracurricular clubs.

Enter at Door 4 at the south end of the building.
