CHICAGO — Chicagoans emerged from their homes last weekend after months of hibernation as temperatures climbed and piles of icy snow began to melt.
Unfortunately, there were some unsavory things revealed by the snow melt. Mostly dog poop.
The city's 311 website showed about 40 "feces" complaints from around the city since Saturday, when temperatures reached 50 degrees. In the last month, there have been around 10,000 feces-related complaints posted to the site.
Ahh spring in Chicago. When the snow melts and you see how many people didn't pick up their dog's poop

The melting snow reveals all the dog poop you barbarians failed to pick up this winter. #chicago

As we said during the snowier months, snow does not magically dissolve dog poop, so be a good neighbor and clean up after your pup.
Got a poopy block? You can report it here.
