Michael Zalewski Wins 23rd Ward Election

MARQUETTE PARK — Incumbent Ald. Michael Zalewski was reelected to his 23rd Ward seat Tuesday, beating challengers Martin Arteago and Anna Goral by a wide margin.

Zalewski received 67 percent of the vote for his ward, which includes Garfield Ridge, Chicago Lawn, Archer Heights, Clearing, West Elsdon, Gage Park and West Lawn.
