UPTOWN — Ditch the cheap beer, and order locally made brews and spirits instead.
At Uptown's Bar on Buena, 910 W. Buena Ave., you can do that just that at 7 p.m. Feb. 19.
The neighborhood bar is "setting this night aside to celebrate what makes proud Chicagoans stand out: the love of the drink," according to a news release.
Expect local brews from Ale Syndicate, based at 2601 W. Diversey Ave., and spirits from Evanston-based distillery FEW. Plus, there will be food specials and entertainment in the form of "Chicago-centric" tunes and movies, the release said.
Beer flights will cost $7, while FEW spirit flights will set you back $9. Cocktails will cost $10-$12 and beer starts at $6. For $10, you can order nips and pints.
There is no cover.
