CHICAGO— Two men were stabbed multiple times in Irving Park early Saturday, police said.

At 2:15 a.m., the 20-and 21-year-old men left home and returned with multiple stab wounds, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago police spokesman.

The men reported to police they had been stabbed in the 4100 block of West School Street. The 21-year-old was stabbed in his chest and the 20-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds, Estrada said.

Both men were taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center where their conditions had stabilized, Estrada said.

According to police, both men, who are documented gang members, were uncooperative with providing investigators with more details on the incident.
