Police To Crack Down on Drunken Drivers on the North Side This Weekend

CHICAGO — Police will be on the lookout for drunken drivers in the Albany Park District on the North Side this weekend.

Officers will be looking drivers who show signs of being drunk from 7 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Similar patrols will be conducted in the South Chicago District from 7 p.m. Friday until 3 a.m. Saturday, police said.

In addition to drunken drivers, police will also be checking for other violations including driving without a license and disobeying traffic laws.
