ROSCOE VILLAGE — Between Riverview Tavern's Festibarrel and Lincoln Square's annual craft beer fest, Winter Brew, Saturday's forecast is a sudsy one.

Festibarrel kicks off at noon, 1958 W. Roscoe St., and features wood and barrel-aged beers. Admission is free but drink tickets are $5, cash only, and are good for any Festibarrel draft.

Between pints, try your hand at Hammerschlagen, which involves hammers and nails and doesn't sound at all dangerous when drinking.

Tickets are still available for Winter Brew's two sessions at DANK Haus, 4740 N. Western Ave. Twelve bucks gets you in the door, with food and drink tickets costing an additional dollar a piece (beers are 4-5 tickets).

Breweries participating during both the afternoon and evening sessions: Begyle, Half Acre, Finch's, Metropolitan, Revolution, Ale Syndicate and 5 Rabbit Cerveceria.

Additionally Breakroom, Sketchbook and Arcade will be sampling their beers in the afternoon, 2-5 p.m. Aleman, Lake Effect and Empirical round out the evening session, 7-10 p.m.
