LINCOLN SQUARE — Friends of Winnemac Park has a packed agenda for Tuesday's meeting, including an appearance by Ald. Pat O'Connor (40th).

O'Connor, who is running for reelection in February, gained the area around the park — formerly part of the 47th Ward — in the most recent ward remap.

Topics of discussion are expected to include park improvements, programs and events — including an expanded slate of Movies in the Park for 2015 — as well as issues and concerns regarding the park itself and the surrounding community.

The meeting is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Amundsen High School library, 5110 N. Damen Ave.

The newly formed Friends of Winnemac Park replaces the park's advisory council and Winnemac Park Neighbors, which have now merged into a single organization.
