CHICAGO — Hawthorne Neighbors will host a forum Wednesday with three candidates vying to represent the 44th Ward.

Incumbent Ald. Tom Tunney (44th) faces two challengers: project manager Scott Davis and longtime business owner Mark Thomas.

The forum will be held at Annoyance Theater, 851 W. Belmont Ave., at 6 p.m.

At the meeting, attendees will get to submit questions on note cards. Each candidate will answer questions for 10 minutes. They'll also get the chance to address the group for 15 minutes.

Hawthorne Neighbors encourages 44th Ward residents to attend.

Tunney won a seat on Chicago City Council 12 years ago, and hadn't faced a challenger until this election.
