Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car in Irving Park Friday

CHICAGO — A women died after being hit by a car in Irving Park Friday morning, police said.

At 6:28 a.m., a 58-year-old woman was hit by a car in the 3600 block of West Addison Street, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago police spokesman.

She was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, and was later pronounced dead, Estrada said.

The driver remained at the scene, but it wasn't immediately known if the tickets were issued, Estrada added.
