UPTOWN — Prolific developer Cedar Street Co. has bought yet another Uptown building.

Cedar Street, the developer also behind the FLATS Chicago brand, paid $750,000 for the single-story building at 4600 N. Magnolia Ave., at Wilson Avenue.

The company said in a statement it intended to keep Starbucks as an anchor tenant in the building while searching for tenants to occupy the other storefronts.

“This new property marks our fifth Wilson Avenue acquisition in about a 10-block stretch from Sheridan to Clark Street,” managing partner Alex Samoylovich said in a statement. “With our focus on the Uptown neighborhood, it is a key addition to our core market holdings in the 46th Ward and Wilson corridor.”

Cedar Street also owns the historic Wilson Avenue theater building at 1050 W. Wilson Ave. and the FLATS building at 1325 W. Wilson Ave.
