CHICAGO — A man was shot in McKinley Park Friday evening, police said.
Around 6:55 p.m., someone shot a man, 25, in the 2100 block of West 35th Street, striking him in his upper body and his leg, according to Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago police spokesman, citing preliminary information.
The victim was listed in "stable" condition, but police did not know which hospital he was taken to.
No further information was immediately available.
