Albany Park Supper Club Plans Sushi Take-Out at Templestowe Pub

IRVING PARK — There's one tiny problem with Albany Park Supper Club's choice of Templestowe Pub as its next dining location.

The bar doesn't serve food.

Not to be deterred, the club plans to order in sushi from the Lawrence Fish Market and Ruk Sushi & Thai, which recently opened a location at 4700 N. Kimball Ave.

Check out Ruk's menu in advance, as well as offerings from the fish market, a Korea Town hidden gem at 3914 W. Lawrence Ave. that's earned rave reviews for serving up high-quality sushi at bargain prices.

Templestowe, at 3135 W. Montrose Ave., opened in spring 2014. Its beer menu features a mix of craft brews like Finch's Secret Stache Stout and Empirical Atomic Amber served alongside Old Style and Coors Light.

The supper club will meet at 5:30 p.m., and attendees should bring cash. Respond to the event's Facebook invite to get in on the club's sushi order.
