CHICAGO — At least three people were wounded in shootings Friday afternoon, police said.

Two men, ages 31 and 30, were shot in Englewood at 4:38 p.m., police said.

The men were standing on the street in the 5700 block of South Throop Street when a maroon-colored car pulled up and someone from inside fired shots, according to Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago police spokesman.

Both were taken to Stroger Hospital with gunshot wounds in the leg where they are in stable condition, Zala said.

Police said the victims have gang ties.

Earlier, around 3:50 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot inside an Austin business, police said.

The man was in the business in the 5500 block of West North Avenue when someone came in and opened fire, Zala said. The shooter then fled.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound in his left shoulder. He is listed in stable condition, Zala said.

No one is in custody in connection with either incident.
