
CHICAGO — Police found a man dead in a car in South Austin Sunday morning.
Around 5:30 a.m., police found a man, 34, dead in a car in the 800 block of North Lockwood Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.
The man was able to drive a block before crashing, Sedevic said.
Police determined that the 34-year-old was shot while inside the car. He was dead upon arrival, Sedevic added.
He was identified as James D. Bradley, of the 1600 block of West Ogden Avenue, by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
