HUMBOLDT PARK — Photos of the car driven by two men allegedly responsible for a fatal wreck in Humboldt Park were released by police Friday in their continued search for the suspects.

The search has been on since a 63-year-old woman was struck and killed on the 2700 Block of West Division Street on Sunday.

Two men were captured on video fleeing the scene of the fatal crash that killed Bessie English, of the 900 block of North Waller Avenue in South Austin. English was taken to St. Mary's Hospital and was pronounced dead at 9:22 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

A tan 2010 Honda CRV bearing Wisconsin license plates struck English’s Ford Escort at about 7:50 a.m. She died of multiple blunt injuries to her torso as a result of the accident, according to the autopsy.

The two men were seen running away from the scene, though no one is in custody, police said.

Anyone with information on the case can call the Chicago Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Unit at 312-745-4521.
