ROGERS PARK — The trees lining Sheridan Road have been illuminated for the holidays for the first time ever.

Sandi Price, executive director of the Rogers Park Business Alliance, said 60 trees between Devon Avenue and Farwell Avenue have been outfitted with white lights.

She said it was the first time the business alliance had done it, using funds from the Sheridan Road Special Service Area.

The new plaza at the Loyola Red Line station has also been outfitted with lights.
