MORGAN PARK — Coffee, doughnuts and handguns will all be on the table from 8:30-10 a.m. on Friday at the Beverly Area Planning Association's community room at 11109 S. Longwood Dr. in Morgan Park.

BAPA is hosting the morning meeting with Candace Moore, campaign coordinator for the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence.

Moore's presentation is aimed at helping business owners determine their rights and legal obligations under the concealed carry law adopted last year in Illinois.

Business owners interested in determining who can carry concealed handguns on their premises and under what circumstances, as well as how to maintain a safe, responsible environment that respects the rights of all clients and employees are encouraged to attend.

Registration is $10 for the public and free for BAPA members. Space is limited and registration is required for all attendees.

For more information, call 773-233-3100 or email mwalsh@bapa.org.
