LINCOLN SQUARE — There's lots of fun to be found in the neighborhood this weekend, so be square, be corny, be artsy, but don't be boring.

Lillstreet Art Center is hosting two events simultaneously Friday night: The opening reception for its newest ceramics exhibit, "Let There Be Light," as well as its annual Holiday Art Fair, featuring one-of-a-kind gifts from more than 60 local artists. Both events are free and run 6-10 p.m. The art fair continues 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. 4401 N. Ravenswood Ave.

Old Town School of Folk Music's Global Dance Party is one part dance class, one part concert. Get ready to swing your partner round and round during Friday's square dance lesson, followed by a performance from White Mule. The party gets started at 8:30 p.m. Cost is $10 and tickets can be bought online. Szold Hall, 4545 N. Lincoln Ave.

The Cornservatory has turned its classic comedy sketches into a drinking game, titled, appropriately, "Drink!: The Sketch Comedy Drinking Game." Cast members will lead the audience through a different drinking game for each sketch. 11 p.m. Saturday, 4210 N. Lincoln Ave. Tickets are $10 and can be bought online. Drinks are strictly BYOB.

The Cornelia Arts Building — home to painters, photographers, sculptors and more — is hosting an open house Friday and Saturday. Check out the art on display while noshing on eats from the YumDum food truck and listening to live music. 6-10 p.m. Friday, 1-5 p.m. Saturday, 1800 W. Cornelia Ave. Free.

ICYMI: RoscoeBooks, Chicago's newest independent bookstore, is holding its grand opening Saturday. 10 a.m.-7 p.m., 2142 W. Roscoe St.
