
LAKEVIEW — DryHop Brewers is releasing its first barrel-aged beer on Tuesday: an oatmeal stout called "Screaming for Vengeance."
The stout was aged for three months in a 15-gallon Tailwinds Distilling Company barrel. It has vanilla, coffee, toffee and rum notes courtesy of an amber rum that was previously aged in the barrel for 15 months.
DryHop Brewers, 3155 N. Broadway, will start selling "Screaming for Vengeance" at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Supplies are limited.
