HYDE PARK — Storytellers will sing the stories of ancient Egypt on Oct. 25 at the Oriental Institute.

Storyteller Judith Heineman and musician Dan Marcotte will tell stories and sing songs for kids about ancient Egypt at 6 p.m. at the museum, 1155 E. 58th St.

The duo will perform songs from their album “The Magic Carpet: Songs and Stories Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt,” including a story about a thief outwitting pharaoh Ramses III and the comedic “How to Make a Mummy” song.
