STREETERVILLE — For more than 25 years, Streeterville's four-legged residents have gathered in their spookiest getups for the neighborhood's Doggie Halloween Party.

Organized by residents, for residents, with treats provided by neighbor Marc Schulman (who happens to be the president of Eli's Cheesecake), the annual gathering returns to the neighborhood at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Last year, the neighborhood Halloween party moved from the Lake Shore Park tennis courts to the Museum of Contemporary Art, which will host the gathering again this year on its grounds.

In a nod to the museum's current "David Bowie Is..." exhibition, this year's party theme is "Bow(wow)ie."

The hour-long event will include a costume parade with treats for all participants and a grand prize for the best getup.
