NORTH CENTER — There's more to North Center's food scene than Ribfest.
The breadth of the neighborhood's culinary offerings will be on display during RestauranTour 2014, scheduled for 5-9 p.m. Oct. 15.
Nearly 20 restaurants are participating in the annual event, serving up samples of everything from cocktails to empanadas to root beer floats spiked with Guinness.
Newcomers include Zia's Lago Vista, Rocks Northcenter, Mangal and The Globe Pub.
Tour passports can be bought in advance for $30 person or $100 for a group of four, either online or in person at the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce, 4056 N. Lincoln Ave. Tickets cost $35 the night of the event.
