CHICAGO — Shootings across the city left 28 wounded and two dead since Friday evening.

The most recent shooting took place Sunday evening in Englewood. Around 8:25 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot while sitting on a porch in the 6800 block of South Peoria Avenue, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago police spokesman.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition after being shot in his left shoulder, Estrada said.

Fifteen people were wounded from Saturday night into Sunday, including three boys shot in Logan Square.

At least 12 people were wounded and two were killed in shootings from Friday night into Saturday morning.
