MUSEUM CAMPUS — The Field Museum will host its first "ID Day" Saturday, making a team of behind-the-scenes scientists and researchers available to help identify mystery specimens and artifacts for museum visitors.
Lizzie Schiffman says you can bring in just about anything to the museum on Saturday, except roadkill:
Patrons are invited to bring in plants, rocks, fossils and dead bugs in containers for evaluation, and photos of living or dead animals — "no roadkill," a spokeswoman said earlier this month.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and lands on a Discount Day, so basic admission is free to all guests.
