PORTAGE PARK — Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was shot and killed Sept. 10 while driving through Portage Park, police said.

Zachary Stinson was arrested Tuesday in California, while Adam Garcia was already in custody in connection with the murder of Gabriel Meneses, 31, police sources said Wednesday.

Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman, said the case was still under investigation and declined to comment.

Meneses, of Norridge, was driving with his brother in the 5100 block of West Waveland Avenue around 1 a.m. Sept. 10 when someone inside a blue SUV opened fire, police said.

Meneses' Volkswagen SUV crashed into a parked car after he was shot in his back. He died at the scene, police said.

Meneses was a member of the Spanish Four Corner Hustlers street gang with an extensive and violent arrest record, police said.
