HYDE PARK — Ald. Leslie Hairston wants to give commendations to the best businesses in the 5th Ward, but wants residents to pick them.
Hairston is conducting a survey to figure out whether Cholie’s makes better pizza then the Medici.
There are nine categories, including best new business in the ward, best school, best festival and others.
The survey is available online.
The winners will be announced at an Oct. 22 fundraiser at the Promontory, 5311 S. Lake Park Ave., one of the candidates for best new business in the ward.
