
CHICAGO — The Chicago theater community suffered two losses Saturday, with the deaths of actors Molly Glynn and Bernie Yvon.
Yvon, 50, was reportedly killed in a car crash heading to a reheasal in Indiana. He was set to appear in "Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown," opening next week in Munster, Indiana.
Yvon, an Albany Park resident, was a fixture of the Chicago stage, and was nominated for five Jeff Awards, honoring excellence in Chicago theather.
He worked on Broadway, performing the role of Harry Houdini in "Ragime" and starred at the Kennedy Center in "The Merry Widow."
