CHICAGO — A penthouse with nearly 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space is on the market in Lincoln Park for $2.25 million.

Dubbed "one of Chicago's most gorgeous lofts," the unit is one of 11 homes in a former phone company building at 1855 N. Halsted St. that was converted to lofts in the 1970s, according to co-listing agent Dan Sullivan with CONLON/Christie's International Real Estate.

The modern home has two bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms and a total of three outdoor decks, according to Sullivan. Up to four guests can stay in the home's private coach house with access to a lush garden.

Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the loft provide views of the city's skyscrapers in every direction, according to the listing's pictures.

The home has a number of amenities including, but not limited to, a newer eat-in kitchen, a media room with a large fireplace and a three-level floating staircase, according to Sullivan.

New owners can access the penthouse on the fourth floor of the building.
