HYDE PARK — MAC Properties is hosting a cleanup day on Saturday at Bret Harte Elementary School.
Volunteers from the property management company will paint hallways and classrooms from 8 a.m. to noon at the school at 1556 E. 56th St.

MAC Properties is redoing the alley parents use to drop off students to route it around the site of its long-stalled Solstice on the Park development.
The improvements to the school were part of the developer’s 2009 agreement to build the 28-story condo tower.
