LINCOLN SQUARE — Gotta love the French, who celebrate their independence not with hot dogs and hamburgers but mussels and crème brûlé.

In honor of Bastille Day, Bistro Campagne, 4518 N. Lincoln Ave., is serving up a special prix fixe menu Monday.

Diners have their choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. Options include the aforementioned mussels as a starter; trout, steak or chicken for the main course; and crème brûlé, milk chocolate pudding or fig and brown butter bread pudding to finish the meal.

Cost is $38, with wine pairings available for an additional $22. Singer Elizabeth Doyle and guitarist John Papodolias will serenade guests with live French music throughout the evening.

Reservations are available online or by calling 773-271-6100.
