CHICAGO — An on-duty Chicago Police sergeant was hospitalized after his car collided with another vehicle Wednesday night in the Washington Park neighborhood.
The accident occurred around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of East Garfield Boulevard, said Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.
The sergeant was taken to Northwestern Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No tickets were issued, and no other injuries were reported, Gaines said.
