Boy, 3, Dies After Falling From Window

CHICAGO — A 3-year-old boy died Wednesday, one day after falling from a window on the North Side, police said.

The boy fell from a second-floor window in the 3700 block of North Kostner Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken to Lutheran General Hospital after the fall, said Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.

Mohammed Alyamani was pronounced dead at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
