
CHICAGO — A man was injured Monday night in a shooting in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.
About 7:25 p.m., a 29-year-old man was outside in the 4200 block of West Madison Street when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Ron Gaines, a police spokesman.
The man realized he had been shot in his inner thigh. He was taken to Stroger Hospital and his condition later stabilized, Gaines said.
As of Tuesday morning, no one was in custody for the shooting, police said.
