LAKEVIEW — DryHop Brewers is turning 1.
To celebrate, the Lakeview craft beer hub — which was so popular when it opened last June it ran out of food — will launch a DHB Beer League on Monday.
For $30 a year, members receive a full 64-ounce growler when they sign up, a custom beer league glass, a 21-oz mug, annual birthday beer and invitations to special releases and tappings. Special discounts include 20 percent off all DryHop merchandise, 15 percent off "Kitchen Favorites" on Tuesdays and a buy-nine-beers-get-one-free special for 13- or 16-ounce pours.
The catch: It's capped at 50 people. Registration starts at the bar, 3155 N. Broadway, at 5 p.m. Monday.
Other DryHop anniversary festivities include:
Sunday Brunch: Executive chef Joel Pillar will create a special three-course brunch from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Dishes TBA.
Barman's Banquet: From 5 p.m.-midnight Monday, customers can get a burger (ancho chile-tomato jam, arugula, pickled sweet onions, raw milk cheddar), 16-oz beer and shot of whiskey for $15.
Lakeview Neighbors Appreciation Party: DryHop is distributing "Neighbor Thank You" cards throughout Lakeview. If you bring one in Tuesday, you'll get 25 percent off everything from 11 a.m.-close.
Mystery Beer Comeback Release: At 6 p.m. Wednesday, the brewery — which changes taps weekly — will bring back one of its original lineup beers. Hint: It'll be either The Angry Samoan, 5.5-percent Coconut Milk Stout or Vampire for Your Love.
$4 Shark Meet Hipsters: Thursday, 11 a.m.-close.
Summer Menu: The new rotation debuts Friday — the brewery's official anniversary — from 6 p.m.-midnight.
