CHICAGO — Chicagoans know better than to let warm weather go to waste. From beach hangs to bike rides, people were out and about this weekend — and Divvy was more popular than ever.
The city's bike share system broke its single-day record with 16,259 rides Sunday, topping Saturday's 12,863 trips, Mayor Rahm Emanuel's office said in a statement.
“Divvy continues to grow as a transportation option, and the warm weather is convincing even more Chicagoans and visitors to use this transit option for getting around the city,” Emanuel said in a statement.
