CHICAGO — A Ravenswood man was charged after being identified as the person who fatally shot a teenager in Woodlawn in August.
On Tuesday, Anthony Bradley, 23, of the 4400 block of North Ashland Avenue, was arrested for the murder of 18-year-old Kenneth Barbour, who was shot dead on Aug. 9 in the 6800 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue, police said.
Barbour, of the 1600 block of East 85th Street, was shot in his stomach during an argument with another man about 8:15 p.m. that night, police said following the incident.
Barbour was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 11:32 p.m. later that night
When Bradley was arrested Tuesday, he was found with a loaded handgun.
In addition to first-degree murder, Bradley was also charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
He is due in bond court Friday.
