
CHICAGO — At least three people were shot, one fatally, in South and West Side shootings during the day Tuesday.
The latest shooting occurred at 6:45 p.m. in the 6400 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, police said. A 23-year-old man was shot in his foot and was taken to University of Chicago Hospitals in good condition.
Earlier, 20-year-old Chasteddy Blocker was killed and a 34-year-old man was left in critical condition after a shooting in North Lawndale.
