WICKER PARK — The expansion of Wicker Park's The Goddess and Grocer brought a new patio — and the latest "In Real Life" meetup with DNAinfo.
Check out the social media posts from Tuesday's power lunch on the patio.
"It is the most beautiful patio in Bucktown, to be elevated like this... I feel like it is in Europe," said Isabelle Gougenheim, who, on a recent afternoon, was eating lunch on the patio of The Goddess and Grocer, 1649 N. Damen Ave.
Located on a stretch of Damen Avenue that is technically in Wicker Park but many refer to as Bucktown, the new larger grocer is directly across the street from the shop's former storefront.
Overlooking the street, the second-floor patio features a long community table as well as several smaller tables with Tolix chairs, which are study yet comfortable metal chairs made in France and often used in outdoor bistros.
Surveying the patio, Gougenheim said, "I like the colors and theme, it is kind of country, city, a little bit of both worlds."

A free lunch for a future visit will be raffled off at the end of the gathering, so bring an extra business card to be entered in the drawing.
