
CHICAGO — A man was stabbed following an argument in the city's South Shore neighborhood Saturday evening, police said.
About 5:45 p.m. Saturday, the 46-year-old man was with an acquaintance in the 7000 block of South Chappel Avenue when the two got into an argument, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a police spokeswoman.
The acquaintance then stabbed the 46-year-old before fleeing the scene, police said. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition stabilized.
