
CHICAGO — A 58-year-old woman died during a domestic incident in Bronzeville Tuesday afternoon.
The woman suffered a "fatal cardiac event" during a domestic altercation in the 400 block of East 46th Street about 3:55 p.m., said Officer Amina Greer, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.
Dorothy McGee, who lived on that block, was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center at 4:56 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police have classified the case as a death investigation, and an autopsy was slated for Wednesday.
