CHICAGO — Police are seeking the public's help in finding a suspect in the murder of a teen killed in his Woodlawn apartment earlier this month.

Police believe Daryl Lee, 20, shot 16-year-old Marquise Harris after an altercation at Harris' home in the 6200 block of South Lawrence Avenue on Jan. 11.

Harris was shot in his chest following an argument between Harris' cousin and another man, believed to be Lee. Police said the teen was shot after an argument during a party, but his family disputes that. Police said he was shot with a .45 caliber handgun, which has not been recovered.

Lee, of the 7400 block of South Phillips Avenue, is believed to be armed, police said. Lee is 6-feet tall, weighing 145 pounds with tattoos on his upper and lower arms and chest. Anyone who encounters him should use caution and call 911.

Anyone with information should call Area Central Detectives at 312-747-8380.
