Things to Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town This Weekend

CHICAGO — A variety of events going on in Lincoln Park and Old Town this weekend includes several comedy routines, a fashion and music show, a beer tasting and a book discussion.

Multiple showtimes

Nick Vatterott at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., various show times on Saturday and Sunday

Comedian Nick Vatterott, who has appeared on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and "Conan," performs at Zanies Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $25, plus two minimum orders of food or drinks.

Friday

Billy Gardell at Park West, Park West, 322 W. Armitage Ave., 7:30 p.m.

Those 18 and older can catch stand-up comedian Billy Gardell at Park West for $35.

Erik Griffin at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Erik Griffin, who has been seen on the Comedy Central series "Workaholics," performs two shows. Tickets are $25, plus two minimum orders of food or drinks. 

Dark Sky and Autograf with Louis The Child, Mia Wallace and Video Villains at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

Delorean Nites presents a dance party that incorporates art, electronic music and fashion. "Fashion forward" dress is encouraged for the night. Tickets, just for those 18 and older, are $10 online and $15 at the doors.

Saturday

Lincoln Park Bar Crawl at Whole Foods, 1550 N. Kingsbury St., 1-4 p.m.

Tour three bars within the Whole Foods and try a flight of craft beers, wine and cheese as well as cocktails. There will be "light bites" and a souvenir pint glass. The event is $25, and those interested can RSVP to mw.kbs.marketing@wholefoods.com.

Sunday

"Les Miserables" Book Discussion (Meetup Group) at Galway Arms, 2442 N. Clark St., 3 p.m.

The meetup group Read the Classics — The 1001 Books Challenge is hosting a "Les Miserables" book discussion at the bar Sunday afternoon. To attend, join the meetup group online and RSVP.
