DryHop Brewers and Kuma's Corner are hooking up with the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild to create three original burger-and-beer combos named after metal bands and their songs starting next month.

First up, DryHop brewer Brant Dubovick concocted Reverse Thunder, an 8.0 Imperial Red named for a song by Portland, Ore.-based band Red FangWith it, Kuma's chef Michael Jarvis created Red Fang II, a burger with a house-made jalapeno beer cheese, beer-battered onion rings and house barbecue sauce.

Both the beer and burger will be available at Kuma's Corner in Avondale, 2900 W. Belmont Ave., and Kuma's Too in Lakeview, 666 W. Diversey Pkwy., on Feb. 6.
