UPTOWN — The Kiss Kiss Cabaret is moving to a historic Uptown building in the spring, according to Ald. James Cappleman (46th).

Kiss Kiss Cabaret is a popular weekly burlesque and comedy show created in 2009 by Chris O. Biddle and Jenn Kincaid. It runs every Friday about 11 p.m. at the Greenhouse Theater, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave., in Lincoln Park.

Cappleman said in an email to constituents Tuesday afternoon that the show would move in the spring to the historic, terra cotta-coated Uptown Broadway Building at 4703-15 N. Broadway, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

"The 4700 block of N. Broadway will be hopping," soon with help from the cabaret, which includes burlesque dancing, comedy, magic and music, according to the email. The Chicago Reader named Kiss Kiss Cabaret's burlesque troupe as the city's best in 2013.
