Lincoln Avenue Businesses Throwing a Holiday Block Party

LINCOLN AVENUE — Here's a reason to wish the weekend would hurry up and get over with: Monday's "Sunnyside of Lincoln" holiday block party.

Hosted by Bistro Campagne, Due Lire, The Grafton and Homesoul, the event features food, drink, discounts and roaming carolers from 6-9 p.m. Cost is $45 per person. The participating businesses are all located on Lincoln Avenue between Sunnyside and Wilson avenues.

For the price of admission, guests will be treated to two featured dishes and two alcoholic beverages at each restaurant. On the various menus: Guinness stew, pasta with duck and peas, beouf bourguinon and assorted pastries. 

Drink offerings, which can be toted between locations, range from hot Scotch to hot chocolate infused with Amaretto and hazelnut liqueur.

Homesoul will offer ticketholders 10 percent off the shop's home accessory merchandise.

Tickets can be bought in advance online; must be 21 or older to attend.
